The UMLY Summer Otters is a competitive swimming program for kids ages 6 to 18. The Otters compete in the Schuylkill Valley Aquatic League (SVAL). The summer season runs from after Memorial Day until the end of July. There are dual meets and championship meets during the season. Dual meets take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, early evening. Each swimmer who participates in at least 3 dual/tri meets has the opportunity to swim in a championship meet at the end of the season.
The goal of our summer program is to provide each swimmer with a positive and fun swimming experience in an environment of teamwork and sportsmanship.
