Currently CSSC is offering Programs at Rancho-Simi Community Pool in Simi Valley. To join CSSC swimmers must be evaluated to be placed into the appropriate group. Groups are based on ability.

All levels have a Family Service Hour Obligation and a Fundraising Obligation. We are one of the few teams that provide a local swim meet for swimmers in the area. It takes a lot of people to run a meet. The meets are also great fundraisers because all that parents need to do is work a few hours and we raise money. No selling items or asking for money from our friends, family, and neighbors. We also have our Swim-A-Thon every year which we ask everyone to participate in. We do other fundraisers occasionally which include: raffles, yard sales, poker tournaments, dinner nights, and other fundraisers that are done based upon having people helping to organize.

To join our White Group (4:15pm - 5:15pm Monday - Friday) the swimmer must be able to demonstrate that they can perform 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke on their own power. They must also demonstrate that they have the basic understanding of Breaststroke and Butterfly.

Our Red Group (5:00pm - 6:30pm Monday - Friday & 9:00am - 10:30am on Saturday) the swimmer must be proficient at all 4 competitive strokes for multiple laps. They also need to be able to perform streamlines, flip turns, Circle Swimming, and has some understanding of how to read a pace clock.

Blue Group (5:00pm - 7:00pm Monday - Friday & 9:00am - 10:30am Saturday) we are looking for the swimmer to do everything required of Red plus have a training speed base appropriate to the blue group standards (this will be a base for repeats of 100 Free, 100 Kick, and 100 IM's).

The Senior Group is similar to Blue with training bases that are faster.
(All practice times listed are for September - May. Summer Hours change due to pool availability.)

In non-high school swimming seasons we now offer a Fitness Group (June - January).
