USA Swimming with
All Seals swimmers may
also participte in USA Swimming if they choose. If you are
unsure if USA swimming is right for your child, please see Coach
Michael for additional information. Please remember that USA
meets are not required. If your swimmer is USA registered
they may participate in as many USA meets as they choose of the
meets we select for the season, in addition to the required YMCA
Dual meets. YMCA meets will always be the priorty over USA,
as we are first and foremost, a YMCA team.
If your swimmer wishes to
also swim USA, you complete the following steps:
1) Stop at the
front desk at the YMCA and pay the $50 USA fee.
2) Complete the USA
Registration form which can be found on the bulletin board in the
swimmers hallway outside the pool deck.
3) Give the
completed USA registration form along with a copy of your YMCA $50
USA fee receipt, and a check for $70 to Coach Michael. Checks
should be made out to the Seals Parents
Association (please, no cash).
Place all 3 items in an
envelope addressed to Coach Michael and leave it at the Front Desk
at the Y.
After registration is
complete, you can register your child for USA meets on our website
using the same procedure as you would for a Dual YMCA
**No USA Registrations can be processed without
the $50 fee to the Y being paid first.
