This is for parents … Do
you know what it means to streamline or what a fingertip drag is?
This is an in-pool clinic that teaches the swim techniques that
your swimmer is being taught during practice. There will be drinks
afterwards. Note: This is adult-only, with no childcare. You will
be in the water. Date TBD.

Note: If your swimmer wants to
swim a specific event, please add your request in the notes

upcoming events. Please make sure your phone number is included in
“My Accounts” when you register.
WAITLIST
SWIMMERS
The Venetian Board of Directors
set the following limits in the Spring of 2019 that will remain in
place for the summer of 2020:
- Waitlist families will receive an
email invitation to join the swim team from the Swim Team
committee. Their registration will be verified by the swim team
coordinators before being accepted.
- There is a limit to the size of
the team (200 swimmers in U6- U14 age group, 35 swimmers
in 15 and older, and 15 Starfish swimmers).
- The invitations will be sent from
the top of the list in a tiered fashion until the swim team reaches
the size limit.
- Parents from the waitlist must
follow all rules and guidelines that are established for all swim
team parents, including volunteering at meets.
- Swimmers from the waitlist cannot
stay beyond swim practice hours at the pool unless for a swim
lesson. If they stay beyond that time, they must be a guest of a
member.
*STEP-BY-STEP REGISTRATION
INSTRUCTIONS
Below the team picture in the
middle of the screen is a red button
for registration. Follow the prompts for
registration with the following notes:
1. Please
register all of your children at once.
2. Once
you’ve completed registration, take a minute to further
update your account. On the menu bar on the left-hand side of
your screen, click “My Account” and then “My
Account” again from the secondary drop-down menu.
3. Take a
moment to double-check that your family contact information is
correct. Please include an “SMS” (including your
carrier information) so we can utilize text messaging for urgent
alerts (like weather-related postponements).
4. Once
you’ve registered, make your commitments to the
meets. Now is a great time to put everything in your
calendar. And, if you know that your swimmer will be away or
missing a meet, go ahead and indicate that under
“Events,” where all of the meets are already listed
(Note: The dates are there, but we do not yet know who our
competitors will be or whether the meets will be “home”
or “away.”)
