2021/2022 Radnor Aquatic Club Fall / Winter Registration!
Welcome to the Radnor Aquatic Club Electronic Registration platform for our upcoming Fall/Winter swim season! We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your own private account that will enable you to easily declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, and more.
**Important Message about the Upcoming Season**
We are opening registration, but are continuing to work with RHS to secure fall pool space. We do have space available at our other locations, but our number one priority is to use RHS this fall. We have been away from home for too long.
The upgrades to the pool itself are set to occur after the completion of the 21/22 fall winter season, however surrounding construction may prevent our immediate return. The board is working closely with the facilitees comittee to secure our return. We expect to have more details in early August.
The SAL is in the process of reforming post Covid. If there is a league this year in any format we will be a part of it. The full effects of Covid on the league is still being sorted out. There is a chance everything is normal, there is a chance that there are new divisions, there is even a chance (though unlikely) that the season will not happen. As soon as we know we will let you know.
RAD Volunteering Policy - Clearances
Please review the Volunteer Policy HERE
The Radnor Aquatic Club Board has carefully considered our volunteer policy. While the Board recognizes every volunteer makes valuable contributions, we also want to ensure the safety of every swimmer. Therefore, the Board voted to require full criminal clearances for all parents/ guardians who will volunteer with our children. Please follow the steps outlined in the Volunteer Policy to obtain and submit your clearances. Thank you for your continued support of Radnor Aquatic Swim Club.'
Returning Varsity Swim Members: Swimmers who competed on the Varsity squad do not need to attend tryouts. Returning swimmers have been pre-assigned to training groups and can be checked on the website HERE. ?SwimmersSwiIf you feel your child is in the wrong group, you are welcoem to attend tryout
We ask non listed developmental swimmers to sign up for a try out. We want to make sure that they are placed correctly. If any progress was made over the summer we want that to be accounted for.
If your athlete was placed in WHITE or RED and you feel like they should be in a higher group, you are welcome to attend tryouts. The coaching staff will be more than happy to reassess your swimmer's placement after tryouts. For now, please register for the group your child has been assigned. If this is later changed, we will adjust the placement in our system.
All returning Varsity Swimmers are assured a place on the team, as long as they register on-line prior to August 31st. Any swimmer not registered and paid in full at this time is not guaranteed a space on the team. We expect a full team this season and encourage you to register early!
If you wish to discuss payment options, please contact the RAD treasurer at [email protected].
New Swim Members: Swimmers who are new to RAD must attend tryouts, unless they were specifically told by a RAD coach which group to sign up for. You must register for tryouts on-line before attending. Please select the tryout option on the registration page of our website. Following tryouts, you will be notified of your swimmer's placement. At this time you will need to go back on-line and register your child to the group they have been assigned and pay your season dues. Swimmers will not be permitted to start practice until they are registered to a training group and have paid their fees.
Returning Barracuda, Piranha, and Spring Clinic Participants: These swimmers must attend tryouts. You must register for tryouts on-line before attending. Please select the "Swimmer Tryout" option on the registration page of our website. Following tryouts, you will be notified of your swimmer's placement. At this time you will need to go back on-line and register your child to the group they have been assigned and pay your season dues. High School Swimmers and Summer Long Course Participants: You do not need to attend tryouts. Please register for the BRONZE, HS, or BLUE training group. If you were included on the master group list, please sign up for the group you were placed in. If you were not (more common for Summer swimmers) please sign up for the group that makes the most sense for you. You are assured a place on the team, as long as your register and pay on-line prior to August 31st. Any swimmer not registered and paid in full at this time will not be guaranteed a space on the team.
