We are ready to swim!!

COVID-19 guidelines require many changes this Summer. You and your swimmers will be asked to follow specific protocols (details will be shared with families via email and on deck prior to first practice) to keep the pool deck a safe, healthy place to gather & practice.

We are limited on how many swimmers we can have on deck at one time. We have decided to open registration to returning swimmers first, then to new swimmers, as long as we are not exceeding maximum numbers on deck.

As usual, swimmers will be grouped based on grade/age and skill level. Fishie group swimmers can not be effectively coached under current COVID-19 guidelines. Close contact is a must with these very young and less experienced swimmers and their safety, as well as the health and wellness of our coaches, is top priority. We are truly saddened that we can not have a Fishie group this Summer. 

• Gold - generally, swimmers entering 7-12th grade
• Silver - generally, swimmers entering 4-6th grade
• Bronze - generally, swimmers entering 2-3rd grade

Practice groups are overlapping in age more so this season than others as we work to accomodate the most swimmers while maintaining a successful experience for everyone. Fees and practice schedule can be found on the Summer 2020 page.

All accounts require a credit/debit card or checking acct. to remain on file. If you have outstanding fees from previous seasons, you will be asked to make those payments at check-out.

Your swimmer's USA Swimming membership is a little different this Summer. Because we will not be participating in meets, TDST swimmers will qualify for the "Flex" membership at a cost of $20. If your swimmer qualifies for free/reduced lunch, please answer 'yes' when prompted and you will receive a $15 discount on the USA Swimming membership.  All swimmers are required to have an active USA Swimming membership. 

If your child swam with TDST (not TD High School Swim Team) this past Winter, they are already USA-S members and do not need to renew. If you have questions about which membership is the right choice for your swimmer, please send an email to tdswimteam@gmail.com
