The Senior Retreat is an annual event that York Swim Club has done for 13 and over swimmers for the past 38 years.  We guarantee it will be the highlight of the year for your swimmer, as it has been for all our 13+ swimmers and coaching staff.

Even though our Senior Retreat has grown and evolved over the past 38 years, it still remains true to its main purpose: “To bring York Seniors from all practice groups together with our coaching staff, for a weekend of companionship, enriched by frank discussions about topics that teens want and need to know”.  The weekend includes fun competitions with swimmers splitting into groups and competing in activities like Tug-of War, scavenger hunts and knockout basketball, as well as the famous Egg Toss.  Over the years we have added Saturday night skits, graduating senior farewells and “Animal Sounds” - you have to hear and see it to believe it!  Every year the activities vary according to time, weather and new ideas, making the weekend exciting! We hope your swimmer can join us for an event to remember, just ask any swimmer or coach who has ever been!

We have moved the retreat this year from Camp Arrowhead in Delaware to Lake Fairfax in Reston, Virginia this season as Camp Arrowhead is under construction, we hope to return to Camp Arrowhead next season.
