Another Great Season!
The Pineloch Piranhas are anticipating an exciting and busy swim season! We belong to the Clear Creek Swimming League (CCSL), which is made up of 21 area teams. This year the swim teams are divided into four divisions by size of the team. All the information about the league and organization of the swim season is explained in the CCSL HANDBOOK, which can be downloaded at the league website: www.ccslswim.org. The handbook will help you understand the rules for the various strokes and competitions. It also clarifies the participation in the post-season Championship Series Meets and provides maps to the meet locations. The following is information you will need now and during the season, so please keep this packet handy.
SWIM TEAM COACHING STAFF
We are very excited to announce that Keele Steglich will be returning as our head coach for the 2017 season.
SEEKING TEAM SPONSORSHIPS
Please contact Team President, Christina Shaw at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested. Please help support our team by obtaining a Corporate sponsor, and/or by sponsoring a Piranha swimmer. Money will be used to help manage costs for the meets, coaching staff, equipment, and most importantly to help keep registration fees low. Help make our 51st swim season one to remember!
Find sponsorship of $500+ and 1 swimmer registration fees are waived.
$155 per child, $120 for second swimmer, $350 family max
$25 USA swimmer discount
$8 per family for CCSL fees
NOTE: Your child must be able to swim the length of the pool prior to the start of the first practice.
If a swimmer is unable to do so, the team will refund your full registration fee and will ask you to remove your child from the team. Two weeks into the season, the coaches will make a judgment decision concerning swimmers that exhibit weak swimming skills. If the coach feels that he/she cannot take his/her eyes off a swimmer due to safety concerns, we will ask that this child be removed from the team. Again, full registration costs will be refunded. Safety is a high priority with this team. We do not take lightly the decision to ask a parent to remove their child from the team.
Pineloch Piranhas Swim Team Board
To improve swimmers’ techniques, speed and to encourage a team environment. Emphasis is placed on individual improvement of time and/or technique, not on ribbons won.
