2023 Registration

Little Sailfish

We are also excited to bring Little Sailfish back this summer! 
Registration for Little Sailfish will also open March 27th.  Little Sailfish will not start until the first full week of morning practices start on June 12th.  All swimmers registered for Little Sailfish will be evaluated on the first day of practice. Little Sailfish Swimmers must be at least 4 and no older than 8 by June 15th of the summer swim season. To be accepted on the Little Sailfish team, the swimmer must be able to get into the water comfortably and be able to swim 1/3 the length of the pool unassisted, approximately 10 meters.  

Non-Potomac Station Swimmers

If you are a returning Sailfish you can register beginning March 27th.

•       If you are a new registrant, please be advised that we will not be accepting registrations from New Non-Potomac Station swimmers until April 10th.
•       If you incorrectly register early and on April 10th we find there is no room for you, you will be refunded all but $25 of your payment.

Payments

We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration to past and new members. Once you set up an account you will have access to your own private account that will enable you to sign up for swim meets, volunteer jobs, see your children’s swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, and receive up to date information on Sailfish happenings.

Try-out Practice

Swimmers age 8 and under, and swimmers new to the team will be required to attend a 'try-out' practice.  All 8 & under swimmers will need to swim the length of the pool unassisted and all 9 & older swimmers will need to swim a 50 (2 lengths of the pool) unassisted in order to be deemed eligible for the main swim team.  This is for the safety of all the swimmers.  

2023 Practice Schedule

Evening practice (May 30th – June 8^th)

5:00-5:20 - new swimmer tryouts
5:30 - 6:00 - 8 & under 
6:00-6:45pm - 9-11 year olds
6:45 - 7:45pm - 12 & older  

Morning practice (beginning June 12^th)

8:00-9:00 - 9-12 year olds
9:00-9:45 - 8 and under
9:45-10:45 - 13 and older
9:15 - 9:45 – Little Sailfish (starts 6/12)

Registration Fees
Swimmer's fee $200, 2^nd Swimmer $150, 3^rd Swimmer $110, 4^th Swimmer $75, 5th Swimmer $65.  Little Sailfish $135.

Refund Policy

• March 1st through June 9th- $25 cancellation fee will be charged.  All other fees will be refunded.
• June 10th through June 17th - $50 cancellation fee. All other fees will be refunded.
• No refunds after June 18^th.

 

*Please note that your address will be verified if within the Potomac Station Community bounderies. Make sure to select the right category when registering your first child. If you are a Non-Potomac Station resident but register your 1st Child as Potomac Station resident, we'll reach out to you to pay the $25 HOA fee.
