Welcome to the Rockshire Swimming, LLC (Rockshire Sharks) Electronic Registration platform for the upcoming swim season! The Sharks are pleased to offer electronic registration. The process is simple for both returning and new members. Registered families will have access to their own private account, which enables them to commit swimmers to swim meets, sign-up for volunteer jobs, view swim time histories, maintain contact information and more. The cost this year is $170 for the first swimmer and $160 for each additional swimmer in the family. Families will need to register all of the swimmers at the same time in order to get the discount. Payment should be mailed to the Registrar at the address provided in the registration “kick off” email. The registration fee is non-refundable (no exceptions). In order to participate on the swim team:
Each family must have a current, paid membership to the Rockshire Pool.
Each swimmer on the swim team must be able to swim one (1) length of the pool, legally and unassisted, in 1 of the 4 swim strokes (i.e., Freestyle, Back, Breast or Butterfly). If you are uncertain about this requirement, please contact the A-Reps at [email protected] prior to registering.
Each swimmer on the pre-team must be at least four (4) years of age but not older than eight (8) years of age by June 1.
Each family must complete eighteen (18) hours of volunteer service during the swim season even if your swimmer does not compete in the swim meets. (Families with only pre-team swimmers are exempt from this requirement though volunteering in some capacity during the swim season is highly encouraged and greatly appreciated.) Please sign up early for volunteer jobs by clicking on “Events & Job Sign-Up.”
Note 1: Do not create a new account if you already have one but do not recall the user name and / or password. In the case of the former, please contact [email protected]. In the case of the latter, click on “Lost Password. Instructions on how to access your account will be sent to your email of record.
Note 2: If you wish to drop payment off at the Registrar’s house (v. sending a check by mail), DO NOT use the mailbox. Use the cooler by the front door.
