The RACER X AQUATICS here offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Racer X Aquatics to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Bronze Group    A novice group for 8 and under swimmers (K, 1, 2, 3 grades) who have had little or no competitive experience.Swimmers must be able to swim freestyle the length of the pool. Emphasis placed on mastering skills in the 4 competitive strokes. Swimmers should compete once a month.

Silver Group     Our competitive Junior level swimmers ages 9 – 12 years old (Grades 4, 5, 6) who are emphasizing competition in our USA swimming meets.  All strokes, turns, dives and conditioning will be reviewed and increased throughout the season .Practices  offered 6 days a week . 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Gold Group    Gold group for swimmers who are serious about training and competition. Conditioning of each athlete is a major priority of this group. The coaching staff feels swimmers at this competitive level should definitely practice 5 of the 6 session each week.   Shave and Taper meets are required.   Offered 6 days a week 2 hours.    Dry land Training 3 x  week.

Dryland Training for Non Racer X Aquatics 

Swimmers looking for a EDGE ?

Developing Explosive Power

1.     Get a full body workout;

2.     Improves coordination, reaction time and balance;

3.     Improves joint stability and improves muscle balance;

4.     Decreases the risk of injuries .

Why do swimmers need this ?

As important as it is to train hard in the pool, swimmers need to complement those workouts with strength and conditioning or, as many others call it, dryland training. The purpose of dryland training is to stretch and strengthen the muscles used in swimming because it's just simply not possible to be in a pool at all times. These are some great Coach Up certified exercises that will help you work on your core, arms, and legs all without a pool!

Taking a break from the Team:  If your swimmer wishes to become inactive from the club,written notice must be received by the 15th of the month prior to becoming inactive. Send an email to the Coach Jim. 


 Canceling membership: If you wish to cancel your membership, a written notice must be received by the 15th day of the month prior to withdrawal to the team administrator .If written notification is not received by the 15th, you are responsible for the training fees for the following month.
