Open evaluations are Mondays at 3:30pm or 4:45pm.  Show up promptly on the pool deck with a swim suit and goggles. One of the Coaches will take a few minutes to watch you swim to determine which training group is appropriate for you. 

Current Fee Structure

Training Group Fees range from $65-$105

• Each swimmer is required to keep $50 in an escrow fund for meet entry fees. 
• Each swimmer must be a current member of USA Swimming $70 (Annual Fee)
• Non-Residents are charged a $100 pool membership (Annual Fee)

• Web site maintenance a $1.00 per month.

  Payment of Fees

  Currently Fees are only payable by check. 

• Training Group Fees and the Non-Resident Fees are made payable to "City of Plantation"

• USA Swimming Membership Dues and the swimmer Escrow Fees are made payable to "Plantation Swim Team"

  Visiting Team Pool Rental Information

  Each year Plantation Central Park rents training space to various college, high school, and out-of-state club teams.  Our facility offers:

  • Two, outdoor, heated Olympic 50 meter x 25 yard training pools, side by side
  • Pools configured short course a.m. and long course p.m. (during winter training period)
  • Opportunities to conduct informal swim meets with other visiting colleges
  • Diving well with 25 meter lanes and:
    • Three 1-meter springboards
    • Three 3-meter springboards
    • One 5-meter diving platform
  • Each pool has men’s and women’s bathrooms and hot showers
  • On-site Recreation Complex with locker rooms, gym, game room
  • Nautilus weight room
  • Outdoor basketball courts
  • Adjacent Tennis Center
  • One-mile outdoor track around Central Park Lake
  • Walking distance to many area hotels (listed below)
  • Minutes to Ft. Lauderdale beaches and open water swimming
