The Academy Bullets Swim Club swims out of eight cities across the state of Illinois - Aurora, Bartlett, Bourbonnais, Eureka, Riverside, Romeoville, and Springfield.

Aurora

Aurora InformationFounded in 1994 by Bill and Robin Schalz, the Aurora Location is home to the original Academy Bullets Swim Club.

The site started out of Marmion Academy, from which our team gets its name, and then expanded to the Vaughan Athletic Center in 2010 due to rapid growth.

Bartlett

Bartlett InformationIn August of 2012, the Bartlett Electrix Swim Team (BEST) approached Bill Schalz about the possibility of merging with the Academy Bullets Swim Club. Two weeks later, the Bartlett Location was born!

Swimming out of Bartlett High School and the Bartlett Park District, the site brought 62 new swimmers to the Bullets in its first year, and now packs its pools with over 100.

Bourbonnais

Bourbonnais InformationThe Academy Bullets Swim Club opened its doors to a brand new site at Olivet Nazarene University of May of 2015.

Eureka

Eureka InformationIn August of 2016, the Aquatics Club of Eureka (ACES) approached Bill Schalz about the possibility of merging with the Academy Bullets Swim Club. Two weeks later, the Eureka Location was born!

Swimming out of Eureka College the site is home to 30 swimmers in its first year.

Riverside

Riverside InformationIn July of 2012, the Riverside-Brookfield Otters approached Bill Schalz about the possibility of merging with the Academy Bullets Swim Club. A few weeks later, the Riverside-Brookfield Location was born!

Swimming out of Riverside-Brookfield High School, the site is home to 200 swimmers from the surrounding communities.

Romeoville

Romeoville InformationThe Romeoville Location got its start in 2008, swimming out of Lewis University.

The site is home to 70 swimmers from Romeoville and the surrounding communities.

Springfield

Springfield InformationThe Springfield Location was born in August of 2013 after a merger with the Springfield Park District's Springfield-USA Swim Team (SUSA).

The site practices out of the Eisenhower Aquatic Center and Nelson Center, and is home to 50 swimmers from Springfield and the surrounding communities.

Westmont

Westmont InformationThe Academy Bullets opened its doors in Westmont in August of 2015.

The Westmont Location swims out of Westmont High School.
