Membership Information

The Elmhurst Swim Team also known as “EST”, is a year round swim team.  We have our Fall/Winter Swim Season and our Summer Swim Season. Approximately 4 weeks prior to the start of a season we will post an open registration on our website.  If it is any other time during the season please contact our registrar Kelly Campione for further information.

The Fall/Winter Season begins in the beginning of October and ends in March.  The Fall/Winter Season includes all home meets and about 3 away meets.

Our Summer Swim Season runs from the beginning of June to the end of July. It includes all home meets.

Before each of our seasons, we have a Stroke Clinic. This focuses on techniques involved in every stroke, as well as starts and turns. Our Stroke Clinics starts 3 weeks prior to our seasons, with registration opening 3 weeks prior to their start date. These two clinics are refer to as Spring Stroke and Fall Stroke.

Eligibility requirements for EST are that a swimmer be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted which is 25 yards, and be between the ages of 5-18.  If you have any questions about being eligible please contact our registrar for further information. During the first few weeks of the Swim Team season, our Head Coach Dave Davis and his team of Coaches, will rank the swimmer's level and place them in the appropriate swim training group. These groups are flexible.  As a swimmer gains skill and endurance, he or she can be reassigned.  It is the decision of the Coaching Staff determine when a swimmer is ready to switch groups.

Registration is open to all in the Elmhurst Community as well as to the surrounding communities.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any of the Board Members. Their contact information could be located in the "The Who do I Contact" sub-tab under Parents & Documents tab on the home page.
