is open for *Returning Swimmers* March 1st- April 1st
Swimmers are considered to be any swimmer that has
competed the last year either on the 2019 Spring/Summer season
or the current Fall Winter Season.
Anyone wanting to sign up after
registration is closed will be put on a wait list and notified
if we have available spots on the team.
Each swimmer participating on our team
will be required to attend a minimum of 3 meets per season
(swimmer's choice and includes our intrasquad meets). We
are a competitive swim team and the Coaches want to see the kids
compete at meets and attain official USA swim times.
We will be offering
a tryout for all new swimmers (or previous swimmers that have not
been a member in over a year - including 2018/19 Fall/Winter Season
or prior) ages 5 years old and up (we will consider 4 year
olds based on ability) that would like to be on the team. Tryouts
will be held in April. Swimmers should plan to attend at least 1
day but can attend both days. Coaches will notify you after
tryouts if your swimmer has made the team, if you are on a
waitlist or should attend swim lessons.
If you were
notified you made the team, you will need to register your swimmer
on our website and pay the season fees. Your swimmer will be
assigned a practice group and that is the group you will
attend on the first day of practice (mid-April). If you are on the
waitlist, you will be notified by the end of April if we
have available spots on the team for your
If the swimmer
wants to leave the team after the first 2 weeks of practice, a
parent must contact the POSA Board by May 1st. The
registration fees will be refundable at this time
(a processing fee for credit card payments will be deducted
from the registration fees refund).
