How to Join SWIFT Aquatics Programming

Club Swim Team

SWIFT Aquatics has continuous enrollment throughout each season for swimmers wanting to learn more about competitive swimming and enhance their abilities in the water.  Parent(s) of swimmers that are interested joining SWIFT Aquatics are encouraged to contact the Coaching Staff with any questions.  Communication is an essential component of what makes our team work, and we want to make sure that getting your child involved is our #1 priority.

We have 8 different training groups that provide an appropriate progression for each athlete to get the most out of their SWIFT Aquatics experience. There are no minimum practice requirements or meet requirements for our Pre-Competitive and Stroke Development groups.  Most of our younger swimmers are involved in many sports and activities throughout the season - and, we encourage that our swimmers become well-rounded student-athletes.

If you have any questions, please contact us by selecting the PLEASE CONTACT ME or you can email Seth Orlove, Program Director.  At the beginning of each season, we have a Placement/Try Out Week to meet new, prospective swimmers and make determinations on which training groups fit their current ability level and will ensure their future successes in the sport.  More importantly, our Placement/Try Out Week will give each parent an opportunity meet the Coaching Staff and ask questions.

Senior Water Polo

Swift Aquatics Water Polo is designed to introduce the sport of water polo to all grammar school, middle school, and junior high athletes.  The intent is to provide basic skills and understanding of the sport in a recreational format.  Although water polo is known for its toughness and endurance, this program will emphasize all the fun and dynamic aspects of the game in a safe easy to learn aquatic experience designed to motivate children to swim and stay fit. Participants will experience a strategic combination of basketball and soccer in the water within this Water Polo Program.

SWIFT Learn to Dive Sessions

SWIFT Learn to Dive Sessions are 60 minutes in length and are designed to teach the safe and proper way to use the springboard. Any individual 8 years and older who have an interest in diving, can swim comfortably in the deep water, and do a head first entry off the side of the pool can join this class.

Students will be taught a forward approach and back press - then, progress to forward and back dives as well as other skills.
These lessons are designed to introduce skills and dives to those students who want to learn more about competitive diving.
