Welcome to the Rockford Marlins Swim Club!

From swimmers just beginning, to those more advanced, we offer training and practice groups for all ages and ability levels. Our training is gearned toward challenging each individual and developing him or her to the best of their abilities.

New Members

• Swimmers are invited to join the team at any time during the year. A free trial is always available.

• Minimum requirements to join:

  • Swimmers should demonstrate the ability to swim at least one length of the pool (25 yds) with their face in the water with no assistance

  • Swimmers who do not meet the above requirement are encouraged to work directly with the Belvidere YMCA to develop the skills needed to participate effectively with the Marlins.

Monthy Fees (as of June, 2022)

Additional Information

• Coaches will assign the swimmer to the appropriate training group based on age and experience.

• All swimmers who practice with the Marlins must be registered with USA Swimming for insurance liability purposes.

• For families with multiple swimmers, the Marlins offers a progressive multi-swimmer discount.

• Participation in swim meets is optional but highly encouraged.
