Membership Information

Dublin Community Swim Team- Sea Dragons

The Dublin Community Swim Team, the Sea Dragons, is a member of United States Swimming. Participation is open to boys and girls ages 7 through 18 and to returning college students interested in competitive swimming. Members of the team must live within the Dublin School District. Swimmers do not need a DCRC annual pass to participate. Placement is determined by ability and age.  The team is open to all abilities, however, there are team expectations and competitive improvement is the long term goal.

The team fees are based on the training group.

Ability Requirements: The swim team is not a replacement for swim  and all new members must pass an evaluation.

Swimmers  must be able to swim 50 yards (2 lengths of the competition pool) comfortable freestyle with proper breathing, 2 lengths backstroke and must have a legal breaststroke kick.  Swimmers should also be prepared for extensive and intense practices.

Required New Swimmer Evaluations

High School swimmers who have competed before, do not need to do evaluations.  New swimmers must attend a one-on-one evaluation at the DCRC lap pool. This determines eligibility for the team, not registration. Parents, please review the requirements listed above prior to bringing children for an evaluation. Swimmers who are unable to complete the requirements, are recommended to register for swim lessons.
