Dublin Community Swim Team- Sea Dragons
The Dublin Community Swim Team, the Sea Dragons, is a member of
United States Swimming. Participation is open to boys and girls
ages 7 through 18 and to returning college students interested
in competitive swimming. Members of the team must live within the
Dublin School District. Swimmers do not need a DCRC annual pass to
participate. Placement is determined by ability and age. The
team is open to all abilities, however, there are team expectations
and competitive improvement is the long term goal.
The team fees are based on the training group.
Ability Requirements: The swim team is not
a replacement for swim and all new members must pass an
Swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards (2 lengths of the
competition pool) comfortable freestyle with proper breathing, 2
lengths backstroke and must have a legal breaststroke kick.
Swimmers should also be prepared for extensive and intense
Required New Swimmer Evaluations
High School swimmers who have competed before, do not need to do
evaluations. New swimmers must attend a one-on-one evaluation
at the DCRC lap pool. This determines eligibility for the team, not
registration. Parents, please review the requirements listed
above prior to bringing children for an evaluation. Swimmers who
are unable to complete the requirements, are recommended to
register for swim lessons.
