Membership Information


RENO Aquatic Club's preferred method of payment is by direct draw from your checking or savings account through an ACH payment. Second choice is automated credit card payment.  A convenience fee of $1.25 is charged for checking or savings account ACH payments and a convenience fee of 3.5% of the account balance is charged for credit card payments.  A convenience fee of $10 per month is charged for payments by check.
Our monthly billing is sent out through email on the 1st of every month. Dues are to be paid on the 15th of every month. If payment is not received by the 25th of each month, a late fee of $25.00 will be charged to your account.  Finance Charge of 20% of the outstanding balance on the 25th of the month is assessed. There will be a $20 charge on all NSF checks.

Mini RENO - $90 per month
Blue - $130 per month
Orange - $150 per month
Junior - $150 per month
Pre-Senior - $170 per month
Senior - $180 per month
National - $200 per month
New Swimmer Joining Fee $205.00
The joining fee is the $205 collected before the swimmer begins. The breakdown of the fees include: 
$92 for annual administrative fees
$73 for USA Swimming Registration
$40 for first month dues regardless of group
Explanation of Fees:
USA Swimming Registration Fee
All swimmers practicing with a member club or competing in sanctioned USA Swimming events must be registered as athelete members of USA Swimming. The fee also covers liability insurance for the team and swimmers. For returning swimmers, the $73 registration fee will be charged in October of each year.
Administrative Fee
This annual fee is to offset the cost incurred by the team in the operation and functioning of a competitive swim team. These fees help cover events and activities for the swimmers and their families as well as the business and administrative costs associated with the operation of the team. For returning swimmers, this fee will be collected on November of each year. The fee is per family not per swimmer.

Coaches Travel Meet Fee
This fee is to offset the cost incurred for the RENO coaching staff to travel to the various meets throughout the region and nationally.  This fee will only be billed to swimmers participating in a meet. The fee will be billed after participation in the meet.  First two children pay full fee, any family member athlete after the first two will not be charged.
  • Local Meets: $5.00 (Carson City, Minden, etc.)
  • Regional Meet: $40.00 (120 miles out of Reno area)
  • Zone 4 Championships (10 & under timed finals $5.00 / 11 & over trials/finals $20)
  • Championships $50.00 (State, JO’s, Sectional, Nationals, etc.)

Parent Volunteer Requirements

RENO Aquatic Club appreciates the time and effort contributed by all parent volunteers to help make RENO Aquatic Club the best experience for our swimmers and families.  RENO Aquatic Club utilizes a Parent Volunteer Program to provide volunteer opportunities for every family.  Parent Volunteer hours are available for social events such as the annual meeting, team hosted swim meets, timing at non

 team hosted swim meets, USA Swimming Officials and fundraisers such as the SWIM 4 FUNDS event.  

Parent Volunteer hours are available for jobs at various events as well as donated items for our team hosted meets and other events.  Please check the HOME page of the website frequently under EVENTS on the right side of the HOME page to see various volunteer opportunities.  All volunteer time and donations are automatically recorded and credited to individual accounts using the website JOB SIGNUP tab.  See instructions for JOB SIGNUPS below. 

Parent Volunteer Program Annual Requirements (September 1 to August 31 of following year)

  • Mini Reno:  2 Hours for the year, Sept  - Aug 31 ($20 fee for each hour not met by Aug 31, 11:  59 PM)
  • Blue/Orange:  10 Hours for the year, Sept - Aug 31 ($20 fee for each hour not met by Aug 31, 11:59 PM)
  • Pre-Senior:  20 Hours for the year, Sept - Aug 31 ($20 fee for each hour not met by Aug 31, 11:59 PM)
  • Senior Group:  30 Hours for the year, Sept - Aug 31 ($20 fee for each hour not met by Aug 31, 11:59 PM)
  • National Group:  40 Hours for the year, Sept - Aug 31 ($20 fee for each hour not met by Aug 31, 11:59 PM)
  • Families need to have met hour requirement for oldest child in the highest group, it is not cumulative.


To sign up for volunteer jobs on the website:

Log into your account using your email login and password

On the HOME page, there are a list of events on the right side of the HOME page under EVENTS

If volunteer signups are available for a particular event, there will be a “JOB SIGNUP” button next to each event

Click the “JOB SIGNUP” button for the event that you would like to volunteer

Check the box (by clicking on the box) for each job for which you want to volunteer.  You can click multiple boxes if you wish.

Then click the green colored “SIGN UP” button at the top of the list of jobs or at the bottom of the list of jobs and you will see that your name will appear next to the jobs that you checked.

If for any reason you decide that you are not available to volunteer, you retrace these steps by clicking the box next to the job that you want to cancel and then click the red colored  “REMOVE SIGNUP” button and your name will be removed. 

To check the status of your parent volunteer hours:

Log into your account using your email login and password

Click “ MY ACCOUNT “ from the list on the left side of the HOME Page

Click “$MY INVOICE/PAYMENT” from the drop down menu

Click “SERVICE HOURS” from the tab

All of the volunteer service hours will be automatically credited to your account after an event has been completed.  If for any reason volunteer hours are not showing in your account, please contact one of the Parent Volunteer Program Administrator Teri Galvin (

Additional Membership Information

RENO Aquatic Club is a nonprofit, public benefit corporation. Swim 'Dues' provide the high-quality coaching and swim programs necessary to support a premier, highly competitive, year-round swim program. Swim Dues based on the fee schedule above, are billed to your credit card or bank account on the 1st of the month using the "Setup Auto Pay" tab under "My Account" tab on the left side of the website.

Notification Requirements:  Any swimmer wishing an extended absence or separation from RENO Aquatic Club must give a written 30 day notice to the Business Manager, the Head Coach and the swimmer’s division coach to avoid being billed for the next month.  Verbal notice to a coach that one plans to discontinue RENO Aquatic Club will not serve as proper notice.  If a member is billed and cannot provide proof of termination date, the member will be responsible for all charges on the account(s). 

Leave of Absence (LOA) (i.e., Vacation, High School Swimming, Water Polo, other sports):( You are able to take a leave for high school sports. You may come back as soon as the season is over.
Medical LOA: (Dues will be waived for any illness or injury if the swimmer is absent for one or more full calendar month. (Physician written verification required.) 
Important Note: Monthly dues are required of ALL swimmers.  Swim dues will not be prorated based upon attendance.
