Established in 1955 as the Santa Rosa Neptune
Swim Club, Neptune Swimming has one of the longest and most
distinguished histories among teams in Northern California.
Throughout the years, the Neptunes have consistently produced many
of the nations top swimmers including Junior and Senior National
finalists, a 2004 US Open Champion, a Senior National Champion and
a 1984 Olympic Gold Medallist.
The club offers an integrated program of coaching and training
groups covering the entire spectrum of swimming experience and
abilities. This program stresses proper technique, teamwork, and
character development, allowing each participant to progress and
achieve to his or her potential as an athlete and as a whole
The team operates at two locations (Ridgway & SRJC) on a
year-round basis. Competition is offered on a year-round

Swimming Committee (LSC).

- Annual Membership Family
Fee of $120 due each September.
- Annual Fundraising
obligation is required by each family. Amount due is
based on the number of family members participating with Neptune
Swimming. 1 child = $150 / 2 children = $200 / 3+ children =
$250. The Swim-A-Thon is held once a year in May. Funds
raised will be due on May 25th.
- USA (Pacific Swimming)
Swimming Membership ($73.00) due upon joining (good
through following calendar year if joining September or after) with
a renewal of $73.00 in December each year
Family Volunteer Obligation -
Swimming is a volunteer sport - it literally can not happen without
parental support. Each SRN family is required to volunteer a
minimum of 24 hours per year. These hours are accrued from the
first day of membership at a rate of 2 hours per month. You can
also earn credit by bringing in corporate sponsors.
