Hello to the NEW YMCA Breakers!
HOW TO REGISTER
STEP 1 AT GT Bay YMCA front desk
Complete a swim evaluation at West YMCA, please bring suit, towel, and goggles (optional).
- When you walk in, there will be red folders with an evaluation form, registration form, and other important information
After attending a Swim Evaluation, complete registration forms to become a YMCA member (Minimally individual swimmer, but family works too!). Then add the YMCA Breakers Swim Team to the YMCA account. (Coach Zoe should have told you what group your swimmer will swim with (Swim School, Developmental, Junior, Junior Elite, Senior, Senior Elite, National)
You will pay the Y Membership fees, an Annual Swim Registration ($80) and 1/2 of September swim fees at Y front desk.
STEP 2 ONLINE
Complete the USA Swim registration at USA Registration
This step is REQUIRED to complete the USA swim registration allowing swim team communication and tracking of swimmer performance. You will need your health insurance card for this step.
The registration process is slightly duplicated with having to sign up at the Y and having to sign up online through the Breakers website. In previous years all swimmers registered and paid through the Breakers website. All financial transactions go through the Y. No charges will be billed through the Breakers website. The tcBreakers.com website is being used to create and send in each swimmers USA registration, email communications out to the team, family communications and all meet entries. If you have any questions about the registration process please email Coach Zoe.
Families that will not be joining the team until after September can choose to sign up and secure their spot by paying the monthly training fees or wait and sign up later.
