Today I'm attempting to brighten your Monday with a Shark Bites!
I'm going to address the meet we hosted last weekend.
The support for our meet was absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful for each of you that pitched in and volunteered your time to help make the meet a success. And the meet was a success, in more ways than one.
The 2014 SAC Summer Open was the first Long Course meet for four of our swimmers: Sidney Smith, Kaleb Starnes, Madison Ayscue, and Bailey Dulin. All four of these Sharks swam great and showed off how hard they've been working!
One of the main goals I have for SAC is consistent individual improvement. Our team combined for 48 personal best times , so we are off to a great start!
A secondary goal we have is competing at a high level, and we definitely accomplished this goal this past weekend. SAC won 23 events, including all 3 of the relays we entered!
Thanks to all parents who pitched in over the weekend! No meet we put on can happen without all the help you poured in, so thank you very much.
We have a small group heading to Spartanburg for the YSCC Firecracker Meet, where we plan on keeping our success going!!
