Sergey Holson won two individual gold medals at the 2014 Canadian Swimming Championships

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - CIS champion Sergey Holson is now a Canadian champion, twice over, after a pair of gold medal swims in the 50m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke at the 2014 Canadian Swimming Championships in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The four-day event featured UBC Thunderbirds swimming for their local club teams.

Holson won the 100m breaststroke in a time of 1:02.53 and just out touched Konrad Bald in the 50m breaststroke, winning by .01, finishing in 28.50.

Erin Stamp also found herself atop the podium, winning the women's 200m individual medley in a time of 2:16.88

Other podium finishes for UBC swimmers, included a pair of silver medals for Stefan Milosevic in the men's 100m freestyle and 200m freestyle. Heading into his second season with the Thunderbirds, Milosevic was beaten out by just .11 in the 100m freestyle.

Two-time Olympian Savannah King had to settle for second place in the women's 400m freestyle. Danica Ludlow beat King by the slimmest of margins, .01.

Rebecca Terejko won a bronze medal in the women's 50m breaststroke, clocking a time of 31.67.
