Today, USA Swimming released the 2016 Olympic Trials time standards at the United States Aquatic Sport Convention in Jacksonville, Florida.
The qualifying period opened officially on July 30th, 2014, and times from then until the Olympic Trials deadline (just before the meet starts in June 2016) will count. That includes times from the 2014 Summer Nationals and the 2014 Summer Junior Nationals.
8 Aquazot swimmers bettered these time standards at this summer’s championship meets, qualifying in a total of 16 individual events. The 8 swimmers qualified are:

Corey Okubo: 200 backstroke, 200 butterfly, 200 IM, 400 IM

Chris Taber: 200 butterfly
Ken Takahashi: 400 IM
Danny Tran: 200 backstroke
Sonia Wang: 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 200 IM, 400 IM
