Final Notes Before HOME Meet Against Sleepy Hollow

This week's Final Notes starts off with three very important reminders for this very busy weekend, followed by all you need to know for this VERY BIG home meet on Saturday.  Read on!

REMINDER:  Redwood Graduation TODAY!  No Practice at Redwood.

Happy graduation Giants!

REMINDER:  Bowling Night is SATURDAY, June 10th from 6:00-8:00pm

Can't believe our kids, let alone our coaches will have energy for this fun event after a long meet day, but somehow they always do!  No need to RSVP.  Just show up.    Click here to see the details...remember its for swimmers ages 8 & Up, and don't forget socks and to write their shoe size on their hand in sharpie!

REMINDER:  Stinson Beach Day is Sunday, June 11th
As of now the plan is for a day at the beach, no lane lines, no laps, salt instead of chlorine, but community and sun tents welcome!  How fun!  Click here to find the meeting place details.  The board was unable to find a surf instructor, so it will be just a day to hang out and do our own body surfing/boogie boarding/sand castle making, beach fun thing!  No need to RSVP to this one either.  Plenty of space on the beach for all!

Heat Sheets and Relays

Please click here to find the heat sheets for the meet along with that all important Heat/Lane Report by Swimmer (all girls listed first alpabetically by last name, then boys).  Additionally, since this is a dual meet you will also find RELAYS next to the Heat/Lane Report.  All age group relay teams are made up of two boys and two girls.  Swimmers earn spots on relay teams based on their times.  Please review these relay teams carefully.  Also note that relays appear on the Heat/Lane report as well and the number next to the Heat and Lane represents the swimmers position on the team...i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.  Lots of relay teams this week!

What do Relay Swimmers Need to Know?

While we did our best to try and figure out notes, it is entirely possible that your child has been placed in a relay that s/he will not be able to make.  If this is the case, PLEASE notify our head Age Group Coordinator, Kathy Slaught (kgcahill@hotmail.com) ASAP so that she may begin working with coach Marie to find a replacement.  If your child is scheduled to swim in a relay and does not show, it is disappointing to all the kids on their team.

Where do Swimmers and Volunteers Check-In?

We know, long school year and a long time since our last home meet!  Click here to read the check-in and warm-up details.
