IMPORTANT PCC Team Update - Please read this entire e-mail; it covers a lot of important information.

Swim and Dive AM practices start Mon. 6/12 (for all levels of swim-Peeps, JVB, JV & Varsity) – see calendar for age group times.  The calendar can be viewed from the Home page of Team Unify. In the middle of the page there are some icons and Team Calendar is the far right.  *You should log in every time because not everything is visible when not logged in. 

Family Folders – Every family on the Swim and Dive team has a family folder.  There are two bins with the family folders in them and they are kept on the counter under the barn near the lifeguard station.   

Swim Caps – Each swimmer gets a Pennypacker latex swim cap and they are currently in your family folder.  Pennypacker caps must be worn at swim meets.  If you’d like to purchase a silicone cap they are available for $12.50.  I will have them with me when I’m at practice this week. 

Team Suits – All swimmers and divers on the competitive team are required to have a team suit. Team suits are available at Toad Hollow (see links tab for their website link).  The suit is black this year with the green team logo; all suits must have the logo on them.

Swim and Dive Meets – All meets are currently live in team unify and ready for you to commit or decline.  Divers and Varsity swimmers commit yes or no to your meets and coaches determine what you are swimming.  JV swimmers – Select Yes or No to let the coaches know your swimmer will be attending. Then select 3 preferred events for your swimmer - coaches will determine which events your child swims at the meet.  Parents are required to help with the meets – all jobs/volunteer spots to help run the meets are open and ready for you to sign up.  Thanks for your help!

Team Pictures ­– Team pictures will take place on 6/23 at 9AM.  Picture order forms are in your family folder.  You will bring completed forms with you the morning of pictures.

CMMD Swim-a-Fun for Pediatric Cancer and Family Picnic: Join us for our first Swim-a-Fun as we partner with Team CMMD to raise money for local families who are battling pediatric cancer.  The swim and dive teams will be SPLASHIN' IT FOR A CURE as they participate in a morning filled with pool games, laughs and LOTS of team spirit!  The competitive swim team, the JV-B kids, Peeps and the dive team will be divided into three teams:  the green, the white and the rooster teams.  Following this fun event, we will enjoy lunch together in the grove (picnic) area.  All team members who sign up will get a lunch that includes a hot dog, chips, water and a popsicle.  Additional non-team member meals can be pre-ordered and are available for $3.00.  If you would like to order additional meals, please comment in the "Notes" section with the # of add’l meals needed – you will pay the $3.00 per add’l meal (non-team member) when you get your lunch.  Family members may bring a picnic lunch as well and join us in the grove.  Please RSVP on Team Unify by Fri. 6/16 so we can finalize teams and get a count to the snack bar. 

The Swim-a-Fun starts at 10:00 a.m. following our Team Picture.

T-shirt Sale Fundraiser for CMMD Swim-a-Fun – T-shirts can be pre-ordered by Mon. 6/12 at 10:00AM.  T-shirts are $12 each and can be paid for by cash or check-1/2 of t-shirt sales will go to Team CMMD to help a family dealing with Pediatric Cancer.  See event in Team Unify to pre-order.
