Emma began swimming as a Thunderbolt when she was 10 years old and quickly fell in love with the sport. She has experienced many successes over the years but is most proud of her performance at Provincials in 2015 where she received 2 silvers and a bronze and at Man- in Saskatoon in 2016 where she received 3 gold and 3 silvers and received the top female 15 year and older high point award, as well as Top female of the meet for Fina points.
Emma has also enjoyed coaching younger swimmers and will miss many of the young participants that she has worked with over the years.
This summer she will be looking to build on her success swimming in Toronto at Age Group Junior Nationals for the fourth year.
The Thunderbolts Swim Club have produced a number of athletes who have been able to swim while accessing post-secondary studies in Canada and the United States.
