CMSL Week 1: Shipley's Choice 239, JCC Summer Team 225

The Baltimore JCC Barracudas lost their first meet since moving up into the fouth division this year, 239-225.  The Barracudas, who are seeded sixth in the Division fell to Shipley's Choice, the number one seeded team in the division.

The JCC's boys outscored Shiplkey's Choice 136-99, but the Shipley's Choice women's team was able to pull ahead of the JCC girls by the larger margin of 133-89.


  • Alan Cherches set two new league records (100M Individual Medley and 50 Backstroke)
  • Ten swimmers and two relay teams scored times that will qualify them for the Straehle Championships (once they participate in a second meet)
