8/11 Update: At the Eastern Zone Championship Meet Ritti re-broke his own 100 and 200 Back (RES) records! Congrats!
At the New England 11-14 Championship Meet, Rittivuth Chea put on a show, re-writing all of the backstroke records for 11-12 boys (both in Prelims and at Finals!)! Here's a writeup provided by New England Swimming. Congrats Ritti! Go Crimson!
In prelims on Friday, Rittivuth Chea (CRIM) set new NE and RES 11-12 200 M Backstroke records. His time of 2:21.45 broke the records of 2:22.84 set by Nicholas Toepfer (SSYS) in 2015! In finals, Ritti bettered his time with a blistering 2:19.88!

finals Ritti Chea shattered

Backstroke records breaking his own
NE record from prelims of 30.57 and the
RES record of 30.47 held by Landon Him (ABF) with a new
time of 29.62! This time is currently 5th in the country for 12
year old boys!
Rittivuth Chea (CRIM) swam a time of 1:04.92 in the 100 back breaking the NE record of 1:06.81 held by Nicholas Toepfer (SSYS) since 2015 and the RES record of 1:05.44 set by Landon Him (ABF) earlier this year! At finals, Rittivuth finished the 11-12 100 back in a 1:04.07 breaking his own NE and RES records of 1:04.82 set in prelims!
