Congrats to Paula Torre-Nieto!
RSA families,
Today we want to recognize and congratulate Paula Torre-Nieto on her acceptance to Smith College in Massachusetts. She will begin her freshman year this fall and she will also be swimming for the Smith College Pioneers. Paula is a 2017 graduate of Panther Creek High School and swam for Panther Creek as well as in RSA's Blackfin group. Paula is undecided about her major but she is interested in Cultural Anthropology and Museum Studies.
Paula chose Smith College "because it's a small school as well as having various opportunities for me to go explore my interests and find what I like.  Its distance from home will also help me become a more independent individual. Can't forget that it has a swim team!" Paula has been swimming all her life but started with RSA last fall and has worked very hard to become a collegiate student-athlete. Her favorite thing about swimming is "when you finally reach a goal that you have been working towards, whether that be breaking a personal best or surviving a two-hour practice".
Congrats again to Paula and good luck at Smith College!
