Saskatoon Goldfin Meet Report

Saskatoon Goldfins Invitational

Nov 3 - Nov 5, 2017

We had two team goals at the meet:

#1- As a team we wanted to have a winning mindset and have the kids practice winning habits. We worked on setting up for a successful meet by achieving team activation as well as a positive team enviormemnt.

#2  Our second goal was to achieve Great team Spirit by starting every session with a BIG Cheer! The kids did a great job of this goal and they were definitly the loudest in the pool. The O's were very successful at both team goals and the only team to cheer consistently right to the end!

54 O's from AGP to HP took to the pool in Saskatoon this was our first three day meet of the season. The results were very good from all the groups attendng we had so many best times it would be imposible to list them all. We did have one New Champs Qualifier Congratulations to Kayla St. Pierre for acheiving the 200 BR Champs time!!

The kids were the loudest in the pool the coaches were extreamly happy with the team spirit from the beginning of the meet right up to the last swim on Sunday.

We had a lot of fun with the relays!! There were so many best times on all of the relays and the kids and the coaches were thrilled with the results.

Thanks to all the people that make these travel meets possible first of all to Lindsey in the office for all her hard work behind the senes. A big thank You to all the Chaperones for there constant hard work throughout the weekend and finally to the coaches!!!
