CMA Hosts First Meet Of The Season

CMA Single Age High Point-This was another wonderful meet that had a good number of best times and great performances. Every swimmer did a good job with listening to Coach Kristen and Coach Falco during warm up and the meet. The big highlights from this meet were Fernando Ardines getting all four 25s legally, Cooper Britt's first meet and he knocked it out with 2 awesome 50's, Addie Cleckler dropped 24.22 seconds, and Lucy Larson took off almost 8.5 seconds in her 50 Free. The Bronze group finished the meet with 22 new best times! The Silver group also did well and they had some bigger challenges with the 100 Free and IM. The Silver group did not have as big of time drops as Bronze. William Bentley had the biggest drop in the group with 9.95 seconds taken off.

Early in the season meets for the senior group usually are more of a systems check than they are meets aimed at time drops, but nonetheless we had some of our Senior swimmer step up and post new personal best times. Leading the way were Cale Morrison with 3 best times (200 IM, 200 back and 50 free), as well as Zach Tansey, who also posted three new best times (100 breast, 200 IM and 50 free). Posting two new best times were Sidney Gehret (100 fly and 100 free) and Bethany Slivka (100 breast and 50 free). Improving in a single event were Kambry Lightfoot (100 fly), Maggie Frohnhoefer (100 back), Michael Mehall (500 free) and Mary Roalstad (100 breast).
