BAC Races in Hamilton!

The Brantford Aquatic Club’s Prep, Squad 1 and a few Mini-Prep swimmers competed in their first meet of the season in Hamilton on the weekend, Nov 19th. The HOBC Meet was hosted by the Hamilton Aquatic Club at the Hill Park Recreation Centre. The HOBC meets are excellent for our younger swimmers to experience the fun of racing and show off new skills.

Emma Adams (10) competed in the 25 free and back where she set personal best times.

Isabella Blasdell (8) dropped 15seconds in her 50 free and set personal bests in her 50 back and 25 breast.

Emma Brock (8) set personal bests in the 50 free, 25 back and 25 breast.

Jennie Brock (8) set personal bests in the 25 free and 25 back.

Alyssa Campbell (11) competed in four individual events. She set personal bests in the 100 free and 25 breast.

Taliah Chen (11) also competed in four events setting new times to beat in all four.

Kyle Correggia (10) dropped 8 seconds in his 100 freestyle. He also set personal bests in his three other events.

Sophie Correggia (7) set personal bests in the 25 free and back.

Seth DuChene (9) dropped 13 seconds in his 100 free and set new personal times in the 100 back, 50 breast and 25 fly.

Charlotte Fisher (11) dropped 9 seconds in both her 100 free and 50 back as well as a new best in the 25 fly.

Austin Godwaldt (11) set personal bests in the 100 free, 50 back, 50 breast and 25 fly.

Jack Gollan (7) set new personal bests in the 50 free and 25 breast and swam a best time in his 25 back.

Chase Hewitson (9) finished 2nd in the 25 free and 9th in the 25 back.

Kathryn Hewitson (13) dropped 8 seconds off her previous best in the 100 free. She also set a new best time in the 25 breast.

Charlotte Hobbs (10) swam a best time in the 25 back and set new bench marks in the 100 free and 25 breast.

Leo Huang (10) set personal bests in three of his four events the 100 free, 100 back and 25 fly.

Ava Hurlburt (11) dropped 16 seconds off her 100 back and 11 off her 100 free. She also set new bests in the 25 breast and fly.  

Yunha Hwang (9) set personal bests in the 50 free, 50 back and 25 breast.

Grace Kim (12) set personal bests in the 50 free, 50 back, 25 breast and 25 fly.

Eric Liao (9) set personal bests in the 50 free and 50 back.

Jacob Lubbers (11) dropped 9 seconds in his 100 free and set new best times in the 100 back and 50 breast.

Peyton Martin (13) set new bests in her 25 freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke events.

Preston McNeill (11) finished third in the 50 backstroke and fourth in the 50 freestyle.

Madeline Pedley (11) dropped 19 seconds in the 25 breaststroke. She also set a new best in the 50 free.

Luke Phillips (7) set new personal bests in three events the 50 free, 25 back and 25 breaststroke.

Max Pletch-Young (11) swam best times in all four of his individual events the 100 free and back and 25 breast and fly.

Maksim Pokorski (9) swam personal best times in all three events he competed in the 100 free, 50 back and 25 breast.

Justin Reeder (10) dropped 10 seconds in the 25 breaststroke. He also set new bests in the 100 free, 100 back and 25 fly.

Landyn Ronson (9) set new personal best times in the 100 free, 25 back and breast.

Alayna Runge (10) set new bests in four events the 100 free, 50 back, 25 breast and fly.

Madden Ruprai (10) dropped 15 seconds in her 100 backstroke. She also set new bests in 100 free, 50 breast and 25 fly.

Quinlen Ruprai (7) competed in both the 25 free and 25 back. The 25 free was a new best time.

Camdon Sallans (9) set personal bests in three events the 50 free, 25 back and breast.

Garrett Sallans (10) set personal bests in the 100 free, 50 back and 50 breast.

Kendra Saunders (12) set personal bests in the 25 free, back and breast.

Brynn Scheffel (9) set personal bests in all four individual events the 100 free and back, 50 breast and 25fly.

Skylar Sheppard (10) set personal bests in the 50 free and 25 breast.

Avery Slot (11) dropped 24 seconds in the 50 breast. She also set personal bests in the 100 free, 100 back and 25 fly.

Sam St. Aubin (12) dropped 10 seconds in his 100 free and 4 in his 25 breast.

Olivia Svec (8) set a personal best in the 100 free and 25 fly.

Allison Torr (11) dropped 10 seconds in her 100 free and set personal bests in the 100 back, 25 breast and fly.

Mackenzie Young (10) set personal bests in the 50 free, 50 back and 25 breast.

Umar Yusuf (11) dropped 23 seconds in the 100 free and set personal bests in the 50 back and breast as well as the 25 fly.

Julianne Zaprzala (10) set personal bests in the 50 free, 50 back and 25 breast.

 

The above swimmers will now get ready to host the Hamilton Aquatic Club on the 2nd of December at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre.
