The SRVA Senior Group flew to Seattle, the first weekend in December, to compete in the Husky Invitational.  This meet is put on by the Universirty of Washington Huskies.  Teams in attendance ranged from swim clubs in the western states to University teams, including USCB and Oregon State, as well as teams from Canada.

We swam very well and in many places we were great.

Giselle Helding in the  200 IM with a two second drop and heat win.

Helen Senchev  breaking a minute for the first time in the 100 Back.

Olivia Adey had a great meet.  Her 200 Free and 200 Back Finals were outstanding.

Chaitha Dasari swam really well in everything.  His closing speed is becoming a weapon.

Caitlin Tan had really good swims in the 200IM, 50 &100 Free and 100&200 Fly. She swam both Fly Finals, improving her times in each.

Jonathan Tan had really good swims in the 100 & 200 fly, the 200IM, and the 50 &100 Free.

Dillon Smith was great in both the 100 & 200 Fly.  He broke the SRVA 13/14 Team records in these events.  The 200 Fly record, he broke by 5 seconds.

Frankie Fitzpatrick swam all best times.  His 50 and 100 Freestyles were really good, making Finals in both and improving his morning swims in each.

Christopher Guidi swam the 500 and 1650 and both were very good.with substantial time drops.  He beat his 1000 best time on the way out in the 1650 as well.

The team did well.  They were very poised and swam very well in the pressure of "Big Meet".
