CMA Finishes 12th Place at Pioneer Meet

We are very happy with how well our CMA swimmers performed at the CSI Pioneer meet held at Denver University this past weekend. This is a CSI meet and the only meet scheduled on this weekend. CMA finished in 12th place overall which is quite an achievement!  Congratulations to all of our swimmers who qualified and competed in this meet.

Gold & Junior Groups: The Pioneer Meet had fast and fun races from our talented 10 & under swimmers! Samantha Synsvoll led the way with four new best times (100 Breast, 100 Free, 100 IM, & 50 Back), getting closer to 11-12 State cuts at 10 years old. Improving in two races were Kytelyn Pieper (100 Fly & 50 Back), Monique Ardines (50 Fly & 50 Free), and Elam Estella (50 Breast & 50 Free). Adding one best time was Kayla Bentley (50 Back). We had even more State and Silver State cuts from these athletes too! Both Kytelyn Pieper and Kayla Bentley qualified for Silver State in the 50 Back, and Elam Estella qualified for State in the 50 Breast! Way to go, swimmers!  Competing in the 11 and up for the Juniors,  Cardin Nguyen  posted three new best times during the weekend (100 breast, 50 breast and 50 fly).  Abigail Stevens  also posted two new best times (200 IM and 50 free).

Senior Groups: While posting 4 new personal best times (100 free, 100 IM, 50 fly and 200 breast), Caroline Bricker also picked up her second Senior Sectional qualifying standard in the 200 breast.
