December Senior Update

The Senior Group athletes competed in three meets over the past two weekends. Best times were achieved, second swims were earned and records were broken. Here is a breakdown of each meet:

Music City Invite (December 1-3)

The action started in Nashville, Tennessee, where CSC beat out Lakeside Swim Team to take the overall team title. A few highlights include:

Jags Winter Invite (December 8-10)

Following a successful weekend in Nashville, the Senior group continued to build momentum in Indianapolis. Jota Iwase led the way, winning 6 events.

Winter Junior Nationals (December 6-9)

Sixteen athletes traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee to compete against some of the country’s best athletes. In an exciting start to the meet, the relay team of Drew Kibler, Brett Sherman, Jake Mitchell and Wyatt Davis won the 800 freestyle relay, setting a new CSC, meet and 15-18 National Age Group Record. The boys finished 3rd and the girls finished 4th, coming together to take 2nd place in the team standings.
