In the webinar, 2017 Safe Sport Athlete Felllow, Connor Fitz Miller, presented on engaging age group swimmers in Safe Sport activities. As part of his project for the Fellowship, Connor has been raising awareness and educating age group swimmers through presentations and meets. Connor did a great job, and we encourage you to take the 35 minutes to view the webinar.
LSC Safe Sport Chair Highlight!
Kudos to LSC Safe Sport Chair Rob Riccobon of Connecticut Swimming. At his LSC’s annual House of Delegates meeting, he hosted a course about Social Media Safety presented by a local police officer in the Cyber Crimes Unit. This is a great example of how you can utilize experts in your community! Remember, you do not have to be the expert on a topic, but you can find the people who are and ask them to be a part of your initiative. Great work, Rob!
