Armada National Group Completes 25,000 yard Workout on New Year's Eve


     Eighteen weary Armada swimmers completed a 25,000 yard workout in just under six hours on the last day of 2017.  The New Year's Eve workout is an annual Armada tradition meant to reinforce our team's unique commitment to the most demanding training.  The 18 swimmmers that finished this year is the highest number since the workout was first held in the mid 1990s. 

This year's workout was:

2 x 3000s free @ 35:00                                                                                                                                           

7 x 400 IM...6 x 500 free @ 5:30                                                                                                                               

1 x 1 rep of every event (50,100,200,500,1000,1650 free,100,200 back, brst, fly,200,400 IM)                                   

3 x 50s..10 x 75 free @1:10                                                                                                                                       

60 x 100 (alt - 1 cruise @ 1:10...1 x fast @ 1:10...1 x kick @ 1:45)
