Thanks for all the congratulations on our Washington Open Meet, but we have more to celebrate. I have the Blizzard Blast Meet results in and they are impressive. 17 seasonal leader board times broken, new Junior Olympic times made, and first time meets for a few swimmers!
TTST Swimmer of the Meet for girls: Maris
TTST Swimmer of the Meet for the boys: Kaleb
First time swim meet: John raced for his first time and posted some impressive results earning him a group promotion to the Regional training group. He is also not far off his first Junior Olympic times that would move him into our TTST Age Group All-Star list!
Outstanding races: Sean swam his first ever 500 Freestyle in competition. All reports said it was a meet highlight and show of team spirit and support. Clara also dropped time in her 500!
Ty Hammond entered his second meet with us and managed a big swim in the 25 Freestyle for his first 8 & under Junior Olympics time, and title of TTST Age Group All-Star!
Maris took it to her personal best level in 7 events with her 8th big performance being the 100 Fly for the first time. She nearly made her first Junior Olympics time in the 200 Freestyle. Her time drops earned her swimmer of the meet!
Hayley had a standout Junior Olympic best time in the 200 Freestyle earning her ticket to the meet this coming March 2 - 4, in Folsom! She also dropped time in 6 other events.
Emily was back in the pool and dropped time, plus took over the seasonal leader board in her 100 Free, 50 Back, and 50 Fly.
Addison, Asher, Cody, and Liam had 4 best times. Tatum, Allie, Callissa, Sophia, and Ethan had 3 best times.
Boys swimmer of the meet goes to Kaleb with 6 big personal best swims earning him high point for Quality Improvement Points!
Congratulations to all of our swimmers at the Blizzard Blast. Combined meets, WA Open, and Blizzard saw all 36 TTST swimmers have a best time, 52 seasonal leader board changes, and 10 New Open Team Records. Let's keep in going!
Big thank you to all of the TTST coaching staff, Meitri, Jenah, Mike, and Chris covering practices and working the deck at he meets. Also thank you to all the parent volunteers for both coaching and officials work. USA Swimming would not operate without the volunteers it has, so thank you very much!
