December Swimmers of the Month
These swimmers were chosen by our coaching staff for their attitude, effort, attendance, and performance in the month of November.
National - JT Lotz. JT is one of our hardest workers, and it paid off for him in the 400 IM in Richmond, where he dropped more than 5 seconds from his best time. JT is a man on a mission!
Varsity - Joshua Bodine. Joshua had stellar distance swims at the Richmond meet, including a drop of more than 3 MINUTES in his 1,650 and 28 seconds in the 1,000. This is not a surprise given how hard Joshua has been working all fall! Keep up the good work!
Gold - JC Gordon. JC has donea great job becoming a leader and someone the group looks up too. We were very excited to see how well JC did in the Richmond meet. He had personal best swims in his 100 Fly and 500 Free. Showing attributes of being a leader and working hard this month has made it an easy choice on him being the swimmer of the month.
Silver - Emily Trautman. Emily raced to an impressive 6 best times in Richmond, most of them by pretty significant amounts. She dropped almost 5 percent in the 50 back and over 3 seconds in the 100 IM. Keep up the good work Emily and the sky's the limit!
Bronze 2 - Anya Muminovic. Anya had an excellent meet in Richmond, going some BIG best times. Her 4 second drop in the 50 breast andd 5 second drop in the 100 free show how excited she is getting about swimming and how much effort she is putting in every day at practice. Keep up the good work, Anya!
Bronze 1 - Colton Buckner. Colton took on the challenge of swimming several events he had yet to swim in a meet, and he did great! He raced through strong swims in the 100 free and 50 back. The future is bright for him with that willingness to take on challenges - great work Colton!
