Loveland Meet A Winter Success
We had such a great time at the Loveland Meet, despite the threat of a winter storm Saturday night through Sunday! True to our annual tradition, our swimmers were making snow angels (in their swimsuits) in the parking lot while waiting for warmups to begin!  :)  We also had a super fun team dinner at Mimi's Café, where we all had a chance to visit and laugh outside of the pool!

Both the Junior and AG Gold swimmers swam great! Three new State Cuts were achieved:  Samantha Synsvoll in 200 breast, Sinjin Schmeck in 100 breast, and Elam Estella in 100 breast!  Six new Silver State Cuts were also achieved: Cardin Nguyen in 100 back and 100 fly, Sienna Schmeck in 50 free (she broke :30 for the first time!), and Elam in 100 IM, 50 back, and 50 free! Congratulations to all of you! Many, many best times were swum as well. Monique Ardines swam ALL best times, including a 6 second drop in her 100 back! Sienna dropped nearly 18 seconds in her 200 free and swam the 400 IM and 1000 free for the first time! Sinjin (age 9) also swam the 400 IM for the first time and liked it! Cardindropped nearly 8 seconds in his 200 back! Elam dropped 8+ seconds in his 200 IM, 4 each in his 100 IM and 100 free, and 5 in his 100 back! Samantha dropped 5.5 seconds in her 200 breast and 2 seconds in her 200 free!  Ceylor Irwin dropped almost 9 seconds in her 100 back and 5.5 in her 100 free, as well as swimming the 100 breast for the first time! Zoe Harris dropped 4.5 seconds in her 50 breast! With that much success at one meet, it will be very exciting to see where the end of the season and our championship meets will take us!

During a cold and snowy weekend in Loveland we had swimmers competing over the course of three days at the Heart of Winter Invite. Besides some awesome snow angles, in nothing but bathing suits, by some of our swimmers, we also recorded some new personal best times. Leading the way was Isaac Eilmes (100 back, 200 free, 200 IM and 400 IM). Following behind him was Maggie Frohnhoefer who posted three best times (100 breast, 200 free and 200 IM), and also posting three best times was Amaya Porter (100 free, 200 back and 200 IM). With two new best times each we had Jack Warmack (100 back and 200 free) and Kambry Lightfoot (200 and 50 free).
