Little 'Cudas Represent at JOs!

Congratulations to Reese Berg, Ty Hollar, and Nathaniel Kern for qualifying for 10 & Under Junior Olympics, held at the Peddie School in Hightstown over the weekend. Coaches and swimmers braved Nor’Easter Riley, joining hundreds of swimmers from 60 different teams. They had a great weekend!

Reese Berg got the ball rolling Saturday, earning Career Best Times in all of her events by weekend’s end: 100 Free (-24.84), 100 IM (-2.31), 50 Back (-3.36), 50 Breast (-3.11), 50 Fly (-5.87), and 50 Free (-1.31).  Our high point earner in the meet, she placed in 5 of her 6 events earning 30 points.

Ty Hollar, our youngest team member, showed off his progress this season by not only qualifying for this meet, but coming home with about 13 seconds of improved time over his 3 swims: 100 Free (-4.83), 100 IM (-2.29), 50 Back (-5.84).

Nathaniel Kern also went all-in this weekend, scoring 27 points and dropping about 6 seconds collectively in his 100 Free (-3.55), 50 Back (-1.52), and 50 Free (-1.04). He earned our top finish at the meet with a 5th Place in the 50 Fly.

Joined by Coaches Kayleigh and Ashley, our 3 NJB Swimmers represented us well on this state-wide stage and made us proud! Great job!
