Summer swim clinics at Indiana University are again being offered this year by IU Head Coach Ray Looze and his staff. The Indiana Swim Camp offers a unique experience that no other camp in the nation can match. The ultimate goal is to educate campers on the fundamentals of technique, racing, and training in the sport of swimming, while providing an opportunity for camaraderie with swimmers from all over the world!
During the 5 days spent at the IU-Bloomington campus, each swimmer will undergo a technical analysis and strength test. Elements of the profile include stroke analysis and land strength tests. Results of the profile will be sent home with each swimmer. All swimmers will be grouped with appropriate age and ability levels through an assessment at the beginning of the camp. Each day will include 2 water workouts, a dryland workout, performance testing, educational lectures, and fun evening activities.
The IU swim camps are now accepting registrations for all four 2018 summer camp sessions!! Registration will remain open until the camps are full. If you have any questions regarding these camps, please check out their website or call 812-333-5684 and Kandis Looze, the Camp Coordinator, will be happy to help you.
