Crimson Aquatics finished 2nd overall at the 11-14 year old Age Group Championships at BU last weekend. On the boys’ side, Crimson won the meet as Harry Herrera scored 109 points to lead the way for Crimson Central. Nareg Minassian scored 90 points and Michael Pan 46 in an outstanding effort. Please also give your congratulations to Crimson North’s Scott Spear who scored 206 points! Leading the way for the Central girls was Shea Furse with 24 points.

WEATHER

When we have bad weather like the last two weeks the schools and pools close. Sometimes it is unavoidable to miss practices due to things out of our control. This is why we make a big deal out of attendance when it is in our control. Swimmers with excellent practice attendance will have no problem handling the practice cancellations, great work!

SAFE SPORT IN MARCH 2018

USA Swimming has worked hard at creating material to help families understand the boundaries of relationships and to define safe sport. The discussion guide is posted here: https://www.usaswimming.org/articles-landing-page/2017/02/10/safe-sport-mondays

*For more information on boundaries, visit www.usaswimming.org/toolkit.  To report concerning behavior, contact Safe Sport at (719) 866-4578 or safesport@usaswimming.org.

Thanks,
The Crimson Central Swim Team coaching staff
