A HUGE THANK
Thank You to all the
volunteers (over 350!) that worked the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series
Meet at Georgia Tech. We could not pull off such high-profile
meets as these without the great support from our
thanks goes to Julie
Ford and Heather Watkins, our
Volunteer Coordinators for the meet. They spent countless
hours recruiting and organizing everyone. Thanks also
to Chris Bauer who was at GT for every
hour of the meet ... helping out where he could. And
to Michael Davis and his staff for the
delicious hospitality. We realize many of you worked multiple
shifts and thank you for that. Our organization, hospitality and
professionalism were evident to all ... as we heard many times
throughout the meet!

something else you may not know: when Vica was 12 years old

Sometimes it can be difficult to know the difference
between Sports Drinks and Energy Drinks. Even the Food and
Drug Administration does not distinguish between them in it's
classification system. Educate yourself and study nutrition
Energy Drinks can contain high levels of sugar and
caffeine, both of which can have negative effects on an athlete's
hydration and training.
To stay in peak condition, make sure you are eating a
well-balanced diet, hydrate primarily with water or an occasional
sports drink, and get plenty of rest.
