SRVA Fantastic at JOs

SRVA had a fantastic meet this weekend at the Junior Olympics Championships in Pleasanton.  This group swam with confidence, poise, and determination.  They represented SRVA in the best possible way and the coaches are incredibly proud of them.  During the finals sessions, our swimmers were the only swimmers cheering for their teammates at the end of their lanes.

SRVA had nine relays compete over the weekend.  All of the 200 Freestyle and 200 Medley relays qualified for Far Westerns.  The 400 Free Relays were all best times for those relays.  It was great to see everyone step up for the team on their relay swims.

Elaina Robinson made finals in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke placing 9th and 6th.  She had big drops in all of her other races as well.

Gabby Nguyen made finals in the 100 Butterfly placing 6th.  She was also LTB in all of her races and made several new Far Western times.
