Nova Tech #5 is fast approaching! DCSC will be hosting the April 14th meet at Centennial Pool and is looking for timers, marshals, and senior officials to volunteer. 

We are looking for the following volunteers:

·   timers and Senior Officials- please indicate preferred position and which end of the pool is your preference – GREAT WAY TO SEE THE SWIMMING!! Please email  Pat Rooney (prooney@dexter.ca)

·   people (or senior swimmers) to marshal swimmers - parents or older siblings of grassroots swimmers are PERFECT for this!

The Swimming Canada e-learning system provides online courses for officials.

The following modules are currently available for officials:

  • Introduction to Swimming Officiating (formerly Timekeeper)
  • Safety Marshal

ACCESS TO THE E-LEARNING SYSTEM

Officials need to be registered as an official in the Swimming Canada online registration system in order to access the Swimming Canada e-learning system.

Registered Officials : If you are currently registered as an active official for the 2017-2018 season, please log in to the e-learning system using your Swimming Canada online registration system username and password. If you were registered for the 2016-2017 season and your account has not been activated for the 2017-2018 season, please contact  DCSC Chair of Officials; prooney@dexter.ca

in order to activate your account.

New Official : If you are a new official, please contact DCSC Chair of Officials; prooney@dexter.ca so that I can create an Officials account in the Swimming Canada online registration system. Once you have been added to the Swimming Canada online registration system, you will receive an email with your username and password. This username and password allows you to access both the Swimming Canada online registration system and e-learning system.
