BAC News - Congrats Coach Phelps

Congrats to Coach Sean Phelps
Recently Coach Phelps has been offered a tenure-tracked position as the Assistant Professor of Kinesiology - Sport Management at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO.  Coach Phelps will be teaching four courses each semester (Sport Marketing, Sport in Society, Facility and Event Management, and Governance) as well as working with the department to implement the school's new online masters degree in Sport Management.  Colorado Mesa is also one of only 22 NCAA institutions that sponsors a varsity program in women's triathlon.  He hopes to become involved in that programs as well as the collegiate and club teams at Colorado Mesa as well.  Congrats from all of the Stingray family on the amazing job opportunity Coach and we wish you the very best and in turn thank you for all of your time and efforts over the years in helping make BAC what it is today.  Coach will be able to finish out the Long Course Season with us and then plans to move down to Colorado at the end of July.

Saturday, May 12th at the Elks Lodge
Please join the BAC for a fun filled evening.  This is an adults only community fundraiser to assist our team in buying pool upgrades and training equipment.  There will be 10 rounds of Bingo, with prizes for each game.  Cards will be available for purchase for $2 a piece, $15 for 10 cards, or $30 for 30 cards, per person.  You can play one game, or stay for all 10.  There will be snacks and a non hosted bar.  We hope to have a strong turnout and lots of support from our families as well as the Billings Community so please invite anyone you can think of to come and have some fun!
