Farewell to Coach Jamie

It is with deep regret that I am announcing the resignation of James Brough, effective August 31, 2018.  James has decided to step away from coaching and move onto other roles within Competitive Swimming.

Since June 2007, James joined the Milton Marlin Swim Team and has been a well respected and valuable member of our family.  As Head Coach, James has a significant amount of success through-out his 12 years with our Team.  Over the years, James has developed and coached many swimmers to achieve: Trial, National, Jr. National, Eastern, Provincial, Regional and Personal Best Times.  One of his many accomplishments includes the February 2018 Central Region Championship when MMST swimmers earned 10 th place – a best placing EVER at Central Regions!

In addition to coaching responsibilities, James developed a successful pre-competitive program with The Milton Marlin Swim Academy where many of our past, present and future swimmers begin their competitive swimming careers.

There is a strong possibility, James will continue in some capacity with our Team – more news to follow sometime later this Spring.

On behalf of everyone from the MMST Board of Directors, please join us in congratulating James on the next chapter of his career.
