Jordan Doner and Kaleigh Sharkey both qualify for Canadian Swimming Trials!

This past weekend, two Newmarket Stingray swimmers both qualified for their first times for the Canadian Swimming Trials, which will be held in Edmonton later this summer.

Jordan Doner, age 17, made the qualifying standard in the 50 breaststroke, at the Etobicoke AGI meet, swimming a time of 33.47. 

Kaleigh Sharkey, age 19, made the qualifying standard in the 100 butterfly, swimming a time of 1:02.33, at the Mel Zajac Jr. International Meet,which was held in Vancouver.  

Kaleigh attends Simon Fraser University, and Jordan will also be attending Simon Fraser beginning this fall.
